Downloading unlimited movies sounds far-fetched if it were in the past. Today, it is a reality. More are downloading movies online and burning them on VCD/DVD to watch at their own leisure time. Teens and young adults, the more tech-savvy generation have been downloading music files for a couple of years, and are doing likewise with online movies. I can’t even imagine where I’d be if it weren’t for God’s grace and mercy. Like most of us, before I recognized the beauty and the bounty in God’s will and timing, I often found myself feeling like my mental anguish and suffering would never end. I felt like I was destined to remain in agony – because of course, I had done some awful things in my life, so I was convinced I deserved it. So I often moped and I cried, and moped some more.

When I woke up one cloudy morning in the same place; in the same state of mind, my eyes would burn and fill yet again with tears. I was stuck in a muddy rut and everyday felt the same. I soon began to accept the conditions of my life – I just existed. If I made it out of bed, I only went so far as the couch. Although I was eating and breathing, I wasn’t living. I watched other people live around me and on television. I tried to distract myself from my pain by watching TV show after show, movie after movie, but when the show went off, my pain was still there greeting me, “Thought you could hide, eh?” Reality came crashing down one brick at a time until the full ton was upon me.
